Kelly Dostal, Chris Paul Win Marge Crisp And Arnold Palmer Awards

WINSTON-SALEM - Kelly Dostal, who helped lead Wake Forest to a third straight NCAA field hockey championship, and Chris Paul, who guided the Demon Deacon basketball team to a school-record 27 victories in 2005, were named recipients of the Marge Crisp Award and the Arnold Palmer Award today. The Crisp and Palmer awards go annually to A field hockey player has won the Crisp Award each of the last three seasons. Dostal's former teammate, Kelly Doton, won the honor in 2003 and 2004. Paul is the second basketball player in three years to win the Palmer Award. Josh Howard took won the award in 2003, followed by men's golfer Bill Haas last year. Dostal topped women's golf All-American Ashley Hoagland and track All-American Anne Bersagel to win the award. Paul edged soccer standout Michael Parkhurst and decathlete Michael Bingham. Dostal was the National Player of the Year and Honda Awared recipient after leading Paul, who was the No. 4 overall pick in Tuesday night's NBA Draft, led
