The U.S. Field Hockey Under 21 team, which includes six Tar Heels, is competing in the Junior World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Among the members of the squad are UNC veterans Stephanie Fuller, Meredith Keller, Abby Martin, Amy Tran and Abbey Woolley, as well as Carey Fetting-Smith, who will be a freshman at UNC this fall.

The United States warm up for its May 19 game against Chile. Six Carolina players represented the U.S. at the Junior World Cup. UNC’s Abbey Woolley calls the toss for the U.S. team.

Four Carolina players were in the starting lineup for the 1-0 loss to Chile Tar Heels Amy Tran and Stephanie Fuller relax in the stands. A hardy group of parents and supporters traveled to cheer on the U.S. squad.
