CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The first seed Wake Forest Demon Deacons (17-1) downed the third seed Maryland Terrapins (18-3), 4-1 on Friday evening at Turf Field in the second semifinal game of the 2003 ACC Field Hockey Championship. The Deacs would get on the board again late in the first half to increase their lead to 2-0. Junior Kelly Dostal found freshman Kristi Harshman for her third goal of the season.
