Blue Devils Defeat Longwood, Hand Bozman 300th Win

DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 4 Duke field hockey team earned its eighth-straight Sunday afternoon, defeating visiting Longwood by a score of 6-0 to give head coach Beth Bozman the 300th win of her decorated career at the newly-dedicated Katz Field Hockey Stadium.

The Blue Devils (14-3, 2-2) scored five in the first half and added another goal after halftime to wrap up a perfect weekend, earning today’s win after beating Appalachian State 10-1 yesterday for a 16-1 weekend scoring margin.

Field Hockey Falls to Syracuse 3-1

Syracuse, N.Y. - The #14 Boston College Field Hockey team lost to #3 Syracuse in a non-conference game at Syracuse University in New York 3-1.

The Orange tallied their first goal of the game 3:58 into the first. They followed up with what would end up being the game winner at 26:35 in the first to give Syracuse a 2-0 lead.
