CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Jessica Roberts snapped a 2-2 tie in the 37th minute with her second goal of the game to give the Boston College field hockey team a well-deserved 3-2 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Duke on a rainy morning at Newton Campus Field.

The win improves the Eagles to 8-2 (1-2 ACC) for the season, while the loss drops Duke to 5-5 (0-3 ACC) on the year.

No. 2 UNC Stops No. 4 Wake Forest, 3-0

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The second-ranked North Carolina field hockey team defeated the No. 4 Wake Forest 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem.

North Carolina extended its undefeated record to 11-0 and 2-0 in conference play. Wake Forest is 7-3 and 1-2 in the ACC.

The first half of the match was played largely under North Carolina possession. The Tar Heels out-shot the Deacons 11-1 and had a 7-0 advantage on penalty corners. Despite the numerous Tar Heel opportunities the Deacons displayed a strong defensive effort and held UNC to just one goal, which was netted during a penalty corner. Wake Forest freshman goalkeeper Kaitlyn Ruhf had three saves in the first half.
