Blue Devils Defeat American, 3-1, In Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The No. 12 Duke field hockey team defeated No. 15 American by a score of 3-1 on the road Saturday, playing its first of two weekend games at Grant Field on the University of Iowa's campus.

The Blue Devils received goals from three different players to pick up their second-straight win and improve to 2-1 on the young season. The Eagles fell to 2-2 with the loss.
