CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The University of Virginia's women's varsity four is the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week.

Virginia's varsity four was recognized for its performance at Princeton last Saturday (April 22). The Cavaliers finished with a time of 7:58.3 to defeat Princeton (8:13.1) on Lake Carnegie. Virginia "B" finished third in the competition with a time of 8:20.2.

Virginia's varsity four was comprised of Meg Van Dam, Hayley Nunn, Blythe Daly, Margot Noordzij and coxswain Liz Arnebeck.

Virginia hosts the first Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Rowing Championships this Saturday (April 29) at Lake Monticello. The preliminary competition begins at 9:00 a.m. with the finals scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
