Duke Rowing Team Set To Compete In ACC/Big Ten Double Duals On Saturday

The Duke University rowing team travels to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, April 12 to compete in the 2003 ACC/Big Ten Double Duals. The event, which takes place at Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River, includes Michigan and Ohio State from the Big Ten and Virginia and Duke from the ACC.

Four individual dual meets will take place over the course of the day with each Big Ten team taking on each ACC team. The morning will feature Ohio State vs. Duke and Michigan vs. Virginia with Ohio State vs. Virginia and Michigan vs. Duke racing in the afternoon session.

Each dual meet will consist of six races: a first and second varsity 8, a first and second varsity 4 and a first and second novice 8 race. Saturday's morning session begins at 9:00 a.m. with the afternoon races starting at 1:00 p.m.
