GREENSBORO, N.C. - Tickets for the 2007 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament, to be held March 1-4 at Greensboro Coliseum, are now on sale. Tickets may be purchased at the Coliseum advance box office, Tickets.com outlets, on-line at www.tickets.com and by calling Tickets.com toll free at (888) 397-3100. Tickets are also available through each ACC institution's ticket office.

"Early ticket sales have been great", said Associate Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade, "I believe the success of last year's tournament with the Championship and semifinal games selling out has motivated fans to buy early." This coupled with Maryland's National Championship and the strong preseason national rankings for Duke, UNC and Maryland has increased the demand for tournament tickets."

The 2007 ACC Women's Tournament will mark the eighth consecutive year the Greensboro Coliseum has played host to the event. In 2006, the Tournament set an overall attendance record of 64,202. Tournament MVP Ivory Latta led the University of North Carolina to its second consecutive ACC Women's Tournament title with a 91-80 victory over the eventual national champion Maryland Terrapins.
