GREENSBORO, N.C. – Ticket books for the 2010 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, to be held March 4-7 at Greensboro Coliseum, will go on sale Monday, November 2, at 10 a.m.

Books, which include tickets for all eight sessions of the four-day tournament, will remain at last year’s price - $99.00 each.

“After setting an all-time attendance record of over 73,000 people last year,” said ACC Associate Commissioner Nora Lynn Finch, “we look forward and challenge the community of Greensboro as well as the fans within our ACC footprint to come out and support our student-athletes and break yet another record.”

Ticket books may be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, via Ticketmaster’s Charge-By-Phone Network at 800-745-3000, at Ticketmaster outlets and at the Coliseum advance box office.  

The 2010 ACC Women’s Tournament will mark the 11th consecutive year the Coliseum has played host to the event. Last year, the Tournament set an overall attendance record (73,187) for the seventh consecutive year and welcomed four new single-session records.

The ACC returns 39 of last year’s 60 starters and 100 letterwinners for the 2009-10 season, including seven players who earned All-ACC first-, second- or third-team honors. Five of the ACC’s top 10 scorers return from a year ago, including the league’s top scorer and this year’s ACC Preseason Player of the Year, Virginia’s Monica Wright.
