The UNC women's basketball team spent a recent Saturday morning conducting youth clinics for the Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation department. Organized by senior guard Nikki Teasley, the 90-minute clinics-one for girls and one for boys-focused on fundamentals of ball-handing, shooting and post play and wrapped up with full court games pitting the Carolina team against all of the participants. "Our main goal is for the kids to have fun," Teasley says, "but they're learning, too. It's also a good opportunity for our team to interact with the kids and be positive role models."
