CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Season tickets are now on sale for the 2007-08 Virginia women's basketball season. The Cavaliers return three starters and nine letterwinners for their second year in John Paul Jones Arena.

Virginia's home slate consists of seven Atlantic Coast Conference games, including five contests with teams that made NCAA Tournament appearances in 2007. Final Four participant North Carolina comes to JPJA on Feb. 15, while NCAA regional semifinalists NC State and Florida State visit on Feb. 1 and Feb. 10, respectively. Georgia Tech will be the final tune-up before the ACC Tournament on March 2.

Rival Virginia Tech opens ACC play Jan. 13 while Clemson will come to town Feb. 21.

In non-conference action, UVa welcomes Wisconsin Nov. 30 for the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. Marshall, Missouri and Delaware State will take part in the Marriott Cavalier Classic Dec. 28-29 at JPJA. Virginia opens the season Nov. 10 at home against Longwood.

Season ticket prices are: adult reserved $80, youth/senior reserved $50, faculty/staff reserved $50, adult general admission $65, youth/senior general admission $45, faculty/staff admission $45.

Reserved seating is located in the side court sections of the lower level of John Paul Jones Arena. General admission seating is located behind each basket and in the upper level in front of the curtain.

Tickets may be purchased online at virginiasports.com, by phone at 800-542-8821 or in person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Monday through Friday.

Season ticket holders from the 2006-07 season may renew their accounts by logging onto their ticketing account at virginiasports.com and clicking "Season Renewals." Season ticket holders should also expect to receive a ticket application in the mail by the end of the week.

The deadline for renewing season ticket holders to receive priority seating is Sept. 21. Fans reserving new season tickets by Sept. 21 will be seated based on VAF priority points, followed by the date the order was received from seats not renewed by 2006-07 season ticket holders.
