Gail Goestenkors has brought in top five recruiting classes each of the last four years

DURHAM, N.C. - For the second time in the last three years, the Duke women's basketball incoming recruiting class has been selected number one nationally. The All-Star Girls Report just released the top 40 recruiting classes with the Blue Devils earning the top spot with five newcomers.

Duke's 2000-01 recruiting class which included current juniors Alana Beard, Iciss Tillis and Vicki Krapohl were also ranked first nationally by Athlon Sports. It also marks the fourth year in a row the Blue Devils have brought in a top five rated recruiting class.
