Simply put, Chasity Melvin controlled the glass on Sunday. In leading the Cleveland Rockers to a 57-55 WNBA victory over Washington, Melvin grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with 12 points as the Rockers improved to 6-3 on the season.

It marked the second time this year that the former NC State star had recorded a double-double. Through nine games this season, the 6-3 Melvin is averaging 12.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest.
