NC State's four WNBA representatives continued their play in this week with a bevy of action around the league. Cleveland's Chasity Melvin and Charlotte's Andrea Stinson led the way with two double-digit scoring efforts.

Melvin's squad began the week on Tuesday with a 74-65 loss to the Miami Sol. Melvin, who has started every game for the Rockers, played 34 minutes and scored 10 points on four-of-five shooting from the field, while grabbing six rebounds.

In Friday's 69-63 loss to the Washington Mystics, Melvin struggled from the floor, but snared a season-high eight rebounds to go with five points and two assists in 32 minutes.

In her final game of the week (Saturday's 79-68 victory over the Indiana Fever), Melvin played a season-low 27 minutes, but made good use of her time. The craft center scored 10 points on three-of-six shooting and dished out a season-best four assists.

Stinson's Sting began the week against Tynesha Lewis's Houston Comets on Tuesday and were defeated 78-66. She started the game and played 32 minutes and scored 13 points. She also had an excellent floor game with seven rebounds and four assists. Former Wolfpack All-American Summer Erb also played seven minutes in the game.

In Thursday's 75-64 victory over Indiana, Stinson scored 15 points on 7-12 shooting, while grabbing three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Erb chipped in an efficient 11 points in 13 minutes on a perfect four-of-four shooting from the floor.

Stinson played 33 minutes in a one-point loss (54-53) to the New York Liberty on Saturday, scoring eight points and grabbing a season-high 11 rebounds. Erb played eight minutes in the game, tossing in one point and three rebounds.

Lewis saw action in only one game this week for the Comets, a 51-50 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday. Lewis scored two points in 16 minutes, while dishing out four assists.

Cleveland is off until Wednesday, when it faces the Orlando Miracle at home at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, the Rockers will stay at home for a showdown against New York at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN. Their final game of the week will be on Sunday at Washington at 2:00 p.m.

Charlotte has but two games this week. Their first game is Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at home against Washington. They conclude the week's action at home on Saturday against Miami at 6:00 p.m.

Houston has three games during the week, beginning on Tuesday with a showdown at Miami at 6:00 p.m. On Friday, the Comets will be back home to take on the Phoenix Mercury at 7:30 p.m. Houston will then return to the road to face off with the Portland Fire on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on NBC.
