Robinson Selected To Play In WBCA All-Star Game

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - University of Virginia senior guard Renee Robinson was selected to play in the WBCA Collegiate Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, April 1 as part of the NCAA Women's Final Four festivities in Philadelphia. The WBCA All-Star Challenge will feature an exhibition contest involving 20 of the top collegiate seniors in the nation, and a three-point shooting contest. The 20-member All-Star team will include 17 of the nation's top NCAA Division I seniors, plus the top senior player in each of NCAA Divisions II, III and NAIA. Each of these participants will be selected by the WBCA membership and a specially-formed All-Star Challenge Advisory Committee. Robinson, a native of E. Palo Alto, Calif., averaged 9.7 points and 4.8 assists for the Cavaliers who finished the season 25-8 and reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen.
