Tickets Still Available For Women's East Regional Semifinals And Final
March 20, 2000 RICHMOND, Va. - The NCAA Women's East Regional semifinals and final are coming to the ALLTEL Pavilion in Richmond this Saturday. The ALLTEL Pavilion seats 7,500. Last season the East Regional semifinal and finals drew crowds of 13,204 and 12,235, respectively, in Greensboro, N.C. Needless to say, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early to ensure availability. Duke will square off with LSU in the first of two semifinals. Tip-off is set for 11:30 a.m. EST with the second semifinal between Connecticut and Oklahoma scheduled to start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Duke/LSU game. The East Regional Final will be played Monday night with a start time that has yet to be determined. Tickets for each session (semifinal and finals) cost $30 and may be purchased through the VCU ticket office at (804) 828-7267.
