Pulling Away: Midway through the first half the Blue Devils went on a 12-0 scoring run, increasing the lead from 7 to 19 points. Duke would continue to push the lead, making it difficult on Florida State.

Halftime Blowout: The Blue Devils led the Seminoles 40-18 at the half. The 18 points by Florida State is the Noles' lowest first-half output of the season.

Back in Black: Chante Black continued her ascent on the ACC career rebounds list. Black entered the game 24th all-time but passed Maryland's Vicky Bullett for 23rd with her eight boards against Florida State. Black now has 971 rebounds for her career. Black's 11 points in the game give her 1409 for her career, tying her for eighth place on Duke's career scoring list.

Can I Get Some Assistance?: With her eight assists in the game, Courtney Ward has 158 for the season. The 158 dishes give her the 2nd best season for a ball distributor in Seminole history.

Running Around: Down 19 early in the second half, Florida State put together an impressive run to cut the Duke lead to single digits. In slightly over two minutes, the Noles rallied off 10 straight points, making the deficit a manageable nine points. Immediately following Florida State's attempt at a comeback, Duke put together a 7-0 run of their own, pushing the lead back to 16 points with 14:13 to play.

Margin of Victory: The margin of defeat was the Seminoles' largest of the season. The 57 total points tied their season low for points in a game (against Florida, Nov. 23).
