GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Erlana Larkins and Cetera DeGraffenreid were named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for the period ending on Sunday, February 17. Larkins led the third-ranked Tar Heels to a pair of league victories last week, including Virginia and Florida State, while DeGraffenreid averaged 13 points for her team in 64 total minutes of action.

Larkins averaged 19.0 points and 13.0 rebounds in the two ACC wins, improving North Carolina's mark to 24-2 overall and a perfect 11-0 in league play. The Tar Heels are riding a seven game winning streak and have won 15 of their last 16, including all 16 of UNC's home games this season.

Last Friday in a 90-82 win at Virginia, the senior from Riviera Beach, Fla., matched a season-high with 18 rebounds in her third straight double-double performance. Larkins followed that with another impressive showing on Sunday, matching season-highs of seven assists and six steals to go along with 18 points and eight rebounds in just 26 minutes. The forward's efforts gave the Tar Heels a 97-77 victory over visiting Florida State.

DeGraffenreid averaged 13.0 points and 2.5 assists in two wins last week. The newcomer matched a career-high with four rebounds in the win at Virginia and logged team-highs in minutes played in both games. DeGraffenreid also committed just five turnovers in her 64 total minutes of play.

North Carolina returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 21 as the Tar Heels travel to Coral Gables, Fla., to face Miami in the squad's final road game of the regular season. The game is slated for 7 p.m. ET.
