No. 11 Tar Heels Shoot Season High In Rout of Radford
Cetera DeGraffenreid scored 15 points to help No. 11 North Carolina beat Radford 74-48 on Tuesday night.

Italee Lucas and Waltiea Rolle added 11 points apiece for the Tar Heels (7-1), who shot a season-high 56.6 percent from the floor.

Brooke McElroy scored 13 points to lead Radford (1-6), which totaled fewer than 52 points for the sixth time this season.

No. 19 Virginia Defeats Furman, 74-43
No. 19 Virginia defeated Furman, 74-43, in women's basketball action on Tuesday night. Monica Wright (Woodbridge, Va.) led the Cavaliers with 30 points, nine steals, eight rebounds and seven assists.

With the win, Virginia improved to 7-2 on the season. The Paladins' record went to 2-8.

Wright finished 10-for-16 from the field with two 3-pointers and was 8-for-12 from the charity stripe. It was her third 30-point game of the season. Her nine steals tied a career-high. Wright has now scored 1,990 career points and is chasing Virginia's all-time scoring record, which was set by Dawn Staley (2,135 points).
