Boston College Loses to Northwestern, 67-63
The Canary Islands, Spain star proved just how valuable she is on Wednesday night at the Donald L. Tucker Center, carrying Florida State past Iowa, 83-69, in this season's ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup.
Rodriguez, the reigning ACC Player of the Week, scored a career-best 28 points on 11-of-15 field goals, including 4-of-6 from three. Her 11 field goals, four treys in 39 minutes are all career bests.
Yellow Jackets Fall 85-73 At Purdue In ACC/Big Ten Challenge
WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. - The Georgia Tech women's basketball team dropped a hard-fought 85-73 battle to No. 14/13 Purdue Wednesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.
It is the first loss for the Yellow Jackets in the Challenge. Tech is now 5-1 in ACC/Big Ten Challenge games.
Junior Tyaunna Marshall led Georgia Tech with 26 points, her 59th career double digit scoring game and her 15th career game with at least 20 points. Marshall added five rebounds and four assists. Junior Dawnn Maye finished with 16 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Senior Jasmine Blain tallied 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Heels Outlast No. 15 Ohio State, 57-54
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - With No. 22 North Carolina trailing No. 15 Ohio State by one late in regulation, Tierra Ruffin-Pratt took the ball from OSU's Darryce Moore and went the distance for a go-ahead layup with just 41 seconds to go
Then she did it again.
Ruffin-Pratt scored four of her 11 points in the final minute -- including a stolen in-bounds pass and layup with 27 seconds remaining -- to help UNC past Ohio State, 57-54, Wednesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Hokies down Wisconsin, 47-38
BLACKSBURG, Va. - Finishing one rebound shy of her first double-double of the season in her last game, Monet Tellier decided to try for the feat another way. However, this time she finished one assist shy, ending the night with a team-high 17 points and a career-high nine assists as the Hokies defeated visiting Wisconsin, 47-38, in Cassell Coliseum Wednesday night as part of the 2012 ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Tellier attributed to all but 10 of Tech's points in the win, while adding a team-high six rebounds and three assists to her totals.
