No. 7 Tar Heels Rout Winston-Salem, 101-38
North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell has prepared her seventh-ranked team well for the grind of the Atlantic Coast Conference schedule ahead.

All her players got some minutes in Saturday's 101-38 rout of Winston-Salem State, with guards Cetera DeGraffenreid scoring 15 points and Italee Lucas 14 as six Tar Heels scored in double figures.

North Carolina (12-1) got 12 points from She'la White, 11 from Trinity Bursey and 10 each from Martina Wood and Cierra Robertson-Warren.

No. 21 Virginia Wins At Colorado, 74-59
The No. 21 Virginia women’s basketball team defeated a pesky Colorado team on the road, 74-59, Saturday at the Coors Event Center in Boulder, Colo. Cavalier All-American guard Monica Wright led all scorers with 24 points and moved into sole possession of second place on Virginia’s all-time scoring list.

Wright was 10-for-19 from the field and added seven rebounds and three steals. She began the game tied with Heather Burge (1990-93) as No. 2 on Virginia’s all-time scoring list, and has now scored 2,082 points. She is chasing Dawn Staley’s record of 2,135 points.

Whitny Edwards just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Simone Egwu added nine points and four rebounds for the Cavaliers. Paulisha Kellum chipped in eight points and had four assists and four rebounds. 

No. 24 Georgia Tech Cruises Past Army, 76-47
Alex Montgomery scored 21 points and Deja Foster had 12 points and 14 rebounds to lead No. 24 Georgia Tech to a 76-47 victory over Army on Saturday.

Georgia Tech (13-2) also got 12 points from Sasha Goodblett and 11 from Brigitte Ardossi in winning its eighth straight game.

Erin Anthony led Army (6-7) with 26 points and seven rebounds.
