ST. PAUL, Minn. - University of Virginia wrestler Josh Etu (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) placed fourth in the 120kg/264.5 pound class of the Greco-Roman competition in the 2002 World Team Trials Championship Series at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Etu, a rising fourth-year heavyweight wrestler for the UVa wrestling program, finished with a 2-2 record in the event.

Etu began competition by recording a narrow 3-2 victory in overtime (7:23) over LeRoy Gardner III in the first round before dropping a 5-0 decision to Matt Lamb in the semifinals. Etu bounced right back in his next match with a 7-4 victory over Tyrone Davis in the consolation semifinals before suffering a 10-0 (2:44) loss to Billy Pearce in the final round.
