T.J. Jaworsky Named Head Wrestling Coach at Davidson

T.J. Jaworsky, a three-time national champion and former UNC assistant coach, has been named head wrestling coach at Davidson College. Jaworsky replaces Tom Oddo who stepped down after 16 seasons leading the Wildcats.

Jaworsky won three NCAA championships at Carolina and in 1995 posted a 38-0 record while being named National Wrestler of the Year. As an assistant coach, Jaworsky helped lead the Tar Heels to four Atlantic Coast Conference titles.

Jaworsky joins a growing list of former UNC wrestlers and assistant coaches who are now active in college coaching. He is the tenth college coach who either wrestled for or coached alongside current UNC head coach Bill Lam.
