CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The University of Virginia wrestling program received two lofty national rankings for its overall team grade point average (GPA) and for its recent recruiting class. Virginia's wrestling program was ranked #22 in the country for the best overall team GPA and was listed among the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-Academic Top-30 teams for its 2.9647 team GPA. UVa was also ranked #22 in the nation for its recent recruiting class in InterMat Wrestling's Top-25 recruiting class rankings. A detailed look at the Cavaliers' complete recruiting class will be announced at a later date.

UVa was the second highest rated school from the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the Atlantic Coast Conference in the NWCA All-Academic Top-30 teams, and was the third highest rated school from the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the ACC in InterMat Wrestling's Top-25 recruiting class rankings.
