The respect we are given from athletes and supporters around the country. The free apparel is very nice too. |
I was at a friend's house after school in second grade and he had to go to wrestling practice. I decided to go along with him and liked what I saw. I went home that night and told my parents that I wanted to join. |
I have a tentative plan to spend a few months saving up some money and then move out to somewhere in the Rocky Mountains so I can catch up on all the snowboarding I have missed in the past ten years. I would like to do that for at least a year and then eventually find an actual career and settle down. Ideally I would like to start a business. However, I don't really have any business training or an idea I am passionate about, so that might be pretty difficult. |
Sitting down with a pepperoni pizza, a plate full of hot buffalo wings, a tall glass of Mountain Dew, and a nice comedic movie. |
A great way to end my career. While it appears to be incredibly unlikely at this point, I truly think our team could pull it off if everyone has an awesome day. On the individual level, winning the ACC would mean that I had beaten a highly ranked wrestler that I never have before. That would give me unprecedented confidence and momentum heading into the national tournament. |

Having a great team and support program. Also, it's a lot of fun! |
My brother got me to come to practice with him and I loved how competitive it was. |
Take the CPA exam and look for a job as an accountant. |
Going out with the team afterwards for dinner. |
A huge achievement for me and our team as a whole as we have had to start from the ground up the last few years. |

Just being apart of the great athletic family here at Virginia Tech. . |
I tried every sport! Wrestling is the sport I loved and the sport I excelled at the fastest. |
Coach wrestling and try to teach youngsters what many people have taught me. |
Nothing flashy, I don’t try and draw any attention to myself. Although, if you could call it celebrating, slapping my teammates hands and my coaches hands and looking at my dad after a match. |
A stepping-stone to my real goal of winning an NCAA Championship. |
