ALBANY, N.Y.- Junior Jake Stork (Mohrsville, Pa.) earned his second victory of the 2002 NCAA Wrestling Championships Friday morning at the Pepsi Arena. He reached the third round of wrestlebacks before being eliminated.

Stork, Maryland's team-leader in falls this season, captured his 16th fall of the year, pinning Boise State's Tony D'Amico in 5:32. Friday's pin marks a new career-high for Stork in a season. In the third round of wrestlebacks, fifth-seeded Victor Sveda of Indiana pinned Stork in 6:26. The loss eliminates Stork from competition at the NCAA Championships.

After the completion of session three, Maryland stands 50th out of 69 schools represented at the NCAA Championships. The three-day tournament will wrap up tomorrow with the completionof the championship rounds.
