St. LOUIS, Mo. - Sophomore Mark Mansueto (West Chester, Pa.) scored a 9-2 decision over Duquesne's Brian McDermott in the consolation wrestle-backs at the NCAA Championships at the Kiel Center on a day when all four Maryland wrestlers were elminated from the tournament. He lost to Boise State's Gabe Vigil, 7-3, in the following round to finish at 20-13.

At 133 pounds, two-time ACC champion Brandon York (Gaithersburg, Md.) faced off against his second seeded opponent in as many matches, and was eliminated by No. 9 Zach Zimmerer, 8-4. York, No. 19 by Intermat, finishes the season at 34-8.

At 157, Rob Booth (Atco, N.J.) lost to Anthony Ralph of Kent, 12-5. After a strong finish to the season in the ACC tournament to qualify for the nationals, Booth ends the year at 15-16.

Josh Weidman (Hershey, Pa.), at 165, posted his career-best 28-9 record, by lost to Peter Rogers of Ohio State, 5-2.

Maryland (8-3) finished in a tie for second place in the ACC this season with Virginia and the four qualifiers is the largest Terrapin contingent since 1997 when Maryland sent five.
