Mat Cloer: What makes a good coach?
Dwayne Hultquist: "A lot of different things, being able to communicate and work with your players, marketing and building the program, and brining in the right kind of players."
MC: D you get nervous during matches?
DH: "Not usually, I get nervous when I sense we are not totally prepared and ready."
MC: When did you decide you wanted to be a coach?
DH: "I think right after college, because I liked being in the college community and I liked working with people."
MC: Who are other coaches you admire?
DH: "Dave Snyder (Former University of Texas Tennis Coach) and Dick Gould (Former University of Stanford Tennis Coach)."
MC: What is the best coaching advice you have received?
DH: "You have to play to win."
MC: How was this year's team different than last year's team?
DH: "The guys were more committed, and had the belief they could beat any team in the country."
MC: What are the goals for next season?
DH: "To be Top 10, compete for the ACC and National Championship, and continue to improve."
MC: How to do you help players from different backgrounds bond into one team?
DH: "It is a challenge, we try to do a lot of team building and have a lot of individual work outs and meetings."
MC: What makes a good coach?
Nick Crowell: "The ability to develop and motivate players."
MC: How nervous do you get during matches?
NC: "Not that nervous, I am more excited than nervous."
MC: When did you decide you wanted to be a coach?
NC: "When I was done playing the tour, I thought I could use my knowledge to help others."
MC: Who are other coaches you admire?
NC: "My head coach at Texas Dave Snyder and my father Dennis."
MC: What is the best coaching advice you have received?
NC: "It's better to start out hard with you players than easing your way into it."
MC: How was this year's team different than last year's team?
NC: "More commitment, and better team unity."
MC: What are the goals for next season?
NC: "To finish in the Top 10, Win the ACC and make the final four."
