Scott Schnugg ends his career sixth on the Tech career singles victory list with 80

Georgia Tech senior tennis player Scott Schnugg dropped a straight-set decision to Pedro Rico of Pepperdine in the Round of 32 Thursday at the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Schnugg, who is the nation's 52nd-ranked singles player fell 6-2, 7-5 to Rico, who is ranked 21st.

Despite the loss, Schnugg finishes the year with a 26-11 record this season and ends his career with 80 singles victories, which ties him for sixth with B.J. Traub (1993-97) on the Georgia Tech career singles victory list.
