Clemson's doubles team in the NCAA Tournament is eliminated

STANFORD, CA--Marco Born and Andreas Siljestrom of Middle Tennessee State defeated Jarmaine Jenkins and Clement Reix 6-4, 6-2 in the opening round of the NCAA Men's Doubles Tournament at Stanford, CA late Thursday night.

Born and Siljestrom are seeded 5-8 in the tournament.

The NCAA Men's Doubles Tournament features the top 32 doubles teams from across the country. Jenkins and Reix finish the season with a 10-9 record overall. Jenkins and Reix are ranked 21st in the latest ITA poll.

In singles, Reix advanced to the final 16 in singles and earned All-America honors. Reix will play Luigi D'Agord of Miami (FL) at 1:00 p.m. eastern time Friday afternoon. D'Agord is seeded third in the tournament.
