Duke's Phillip King and Ludovic Walter will begin play in the 2004 NCAA Singles Championship on Wednesday. The event is hosted by The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla.

Seeded fifth, King will open the tournament against Ken Skupski of LSU (11:30 a.m.) while Walter takes on Benjamin Becker of Baylor (2:30 p.m.). King and Walter enter the tournament with overall singles records of 18-8 and 36-8, respectively, on the year.

The doubles bracket begins on Thursday, with Walter and partner Jason Zimmermann facing Dustin Taylor and Alejandro Tejerina of Tulsa in the first round.
