Thirteen ACC Men's Singles Players, Five Doubles Teams Selected for NCAA Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Thirteen singles players - including automatic qualifier Cory Parr of Wake Forest, ACC Player of the Year Jean-Yves Aubone of Florida State, and ACC Championship MVP Dominic Inglot of Virginia - are among the 64-member field for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships.

Five ACC teams are also among the 32-team doubles field, including Wake Forest's automatic qualifying team of Parr and Steven Forman. The selections were announced by the NCAA early Wednesday evening.

Top-ranked and unbeaten Virginia leads all ACC schools with three singles players and two doubles teams selected. The three players in the singles field ties the Virginia school record set in 2005 and matched last season. This year marks the first time the Cavaliers have sent two teams to the doubles championship.

The NCAA singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 20-25 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas, following the conclusion of the team championship (May 14-19). Texas A&M University will serve as host.
