ACC Tennis Championships To Be Played Indoors on Sunday
Men's match at UNC; Women's match at Wake Forest at 1 p.m.

CARY, N.C.  – Due to heavy rain at Cary Tennis Park, the finals of both the 2012 Men’s and Women’s Atlantic Coast Conference Tennis Championships will be played indoors on Sunday.

The men’s championship match between top-seeded Virginia and third-seeded Duke will be played at the University of North Carolina’s Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, N.C., while the women’s title match between top-seeded Duke and second-seeded North Carolina will be played at Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Admission to both of Sunday’s matches will be free. Please check theACC.com for scoring updates and for complete recaps following the completion of each match.

The Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center is located at 100 West 32nd Street, Winston Salem, N.C. 27105 (Phone number 336-758-5634). The Tennis Center is located in the same parking lot as Wake Forest’s Football Stadium (BB&T Field) and adjacent to Wake’s outdoor tennis courts.

Directions to UNC’s Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center (919-962-6363) are as follows:

From East
Take I-40 West to Exit 273-B (Hwy 54). Go west towards Chapel Hill. You will see signs pointing left to the Friday Center and Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. Go past the Friday Center and you will find the tennis center.

From West
Take I-40 East to Exit 273 (Hwy 54). Follow 54 west towards Chapel Hill. You will see signs pointing left to the Friday Center and Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. Go past the Friday Center and you will find the tennis center.

From South
Take US 15-501 to Hwy 54 East. At 15-501/54 split bear off to your right to remain on Hwy 54 (to Raleigh). You will see signs on your right to the Friday Center and tennis center. Go past the Friday Center and you will find the tennis center.

From North
Take 15-501 South. 15-501 and Hwy 54 West will combine. Cross over bridge and cloverleaf onto 54 East (to Raleigh). You will see signs on your right to the Friday Center and tennis center. Go past the Friday Center and you will find the tennis center.
