North Carolina's Fogleman Named ACC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Taylor Fogleman has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week after posting a pair of wins at No. 1 singles, including a straight-set victory over the nation's 20th-ranked player.

Fogleman's 6-1, 6-0 victory over Michigan's Andrew Mazlin helped the Tar Heels to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over the 32nd-ranked Wolverines on Sunday. The 50th-ranked Fogleman opened his week with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Bethune-Cookman's Yabbick Jackson.

Fogleman, a senior from New Orleans, also teamed with Clay Donato for an 8-0 doubles win over Christian Cruz and Emil Vassilev in the Bethune-Cookman match.
