ATHENS, Ga. - NC State's Roberto Bracone fell to Harvard's James Blake, 6-2, 7-5, in the third round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Tournament on Friday. Blake was the top-seeded player in the tournament.

Bracone, who earned All-America honors by making it to the round of 16 on Thursday, finished the spring 22-6 and 67-23 for his career. His 22 wins this season are an NC State record, while his 67 career victories rank fifth in school history.

More important than his individual accomplishments, Bracone helped the Wolfpack earn its first berth in the NCAA Tournament since 1978 this year. He also helped the Pack achieve its first winning season since 1988 this year, leading the team to a 14-13 record.
