PALO ALTO, Calif. - Miami junior Luigi D'Agord and freshman Daniel Vallverdu were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the 2006 NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championships Saturday in a three-set (5-7, 6-4, 6-0) loss to second-seeded Andre Begemann and Scott Doemer of Pepperdine.

After taking the first set 7-5, D'Agord and Vallverdu, who are ranked No. 10 nationally in doubles, couldn't hold off Begemann and Doemer of recently crowned NCAA Champion Pepperdine who rallied to win the second and third sets 6-4, 6-0, respectively, ending the Hurricane duo's run at the NCAA Tournament.
