POST MATCH QUOTES

Duke's Jay Lapidus
"With it being so hot out, I just wanted our guys to take care of business. I thought they did a good job, not letting any matches go too long. I thought we played well. I thought Doug Root and Ramsey Smith did an excellent job in doubles."

On playing South Carolina tomorrow:
"They are a very dangerous team. They're had a lot of injuries and have been dinged up all year. They've struggled in doubles, and they'd probably be the first to tell you that, but in singles, one through six, they are very good. It's going to be a tough match tomorrow."

Duke's Doug Root (#2 singles)
On the distractions of it being graduation weekend:
"There's a lot to deal with. There's so much going on around here, there are a lot of distractions. I'm just trying to stick to our priorities. This (the tournament) is what we've worked for all year, playing for the national championship."
