Blue Devils Close Out Home Slate With 5-2 Win Over Maryland
In their final home match of the regular season, the No. 30 Duke men’s tennis team came away with a 5-2 victory over No. 75.

The match started outdoors with Duke claiming the doubles point on wins by Dylan Arnould and Reid Carleton (8-4) at No. 1 and David Holland and Jared Pinsky (8-6) at No. 2. About halfway through singles and two-and-a-half hours into the match the rain started to fall, forcing play indoors to the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.

The only singles match to have finished outside was the No. 2 match. Arnould closed out his straight set win over Andrew Orban 6- 1, 6-3 just minutes before the chair umpires declared the courts were too wet for play. Arnould is now 2-0 when playing at the No. 2 spot and improved to 16-11 overall this season. He is now 4-2 in ACC play.
