No. 46 NC State Tops No. 33 Clemson 5-2 For most college tennis teams, the doubles point is a good indicator of the match. For NC State it's no different. The Pack rebounded though as Dominic Hodgson and Rob Lowe defeated Derek DiFazio and Wes Moran 8-6. The doubles point was won when Jaime Pulgar and Dave Thomson beat Carlos Alvarez and Juan Bolona 8-5. Halfway through singles the match was moved inside because of cold weather and a light rain, but it didn't affect the Wolfpack. D. Thomson took care of Moran 6-3, 6-1 to give the Pack a 2-0 lead. The Tigers earned a point when Kevin Galloway beat Lowe 6-1, 6-4. Hodgson increased the lead to 3-1 with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over DiFazio. Duke plays a pair in New England ... Coming Soon |
