UNC Cruises Over Campbell
The 20th-ranked Tar Heels won the first match of their second consecutive doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. UNC faced Campbell, cruising to a 6-1 victory behind strong efforts from nearly every player.

The Tar Heels lost only six total games in doubles, winning the team doubles point for the third straight match to gain a 1-0 lead heading into singles competition. The fifth-ranked duo of Clay Donato and Taylor Fogleman fared the best, winning 8-1 against Davy Sum and Jeroen Kuppens.

Singles was more competitive as three of the six matches went into third set tiebreakers. However, Carolina pulled out wins in five of the six to clinch a 6-1 victory. The Tar Heels had straight-sets wins in singles from their most experienced veteran, senior captain Fogleman, as well as some of their youngest players, freshmen Brennan Boyajian and Luke Mojica.

UNC Sweeps Doubleheader With Win Against NCCU
The 20th-ranked UNC Men's Tennis team completed a doubleheader sweep with a 7-0 shutout of North Carolina Central on Tuesday night.

For the second straight match, the Tar Heels lost only six total games in doubles. This time, it was the team of Luke Mojica and Alex Rafiee that led the doubles sweep, losing only one game to Jermaine Byrd and Jose Fabara.

Georgia Defeats Clemson 7-0
Third-ranked Georgia defeated Clemson 7-0 in a men's intercollegiate tennis match at Athens, GA Tuesday afternoon at the Hopkins Indoor Tennis Courts in Athens, GA.

This was the season opener for Georgia, while Clemson falls to 1-1 this season. The Bulldogs are ranked number three in the latest ITA poll, while Clemson is ranked 61st.

The Tigers will participate in the William & Mary Men's Tennis Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Clemson's next action.
