Maryland's Casey Townsend launched seven shots in the first half. 1:36 p.m. - Media Timeout with 18:52 remaining in the first half. Virginia will have a corner kick coming back from the break. 1:31 p.m. - Maryland's Casey Townsend had a breakaway and ripped a shot from 30 yards out... Giallombardo made another great save. Maryland still leads 1-0 with 23 minutes left in the first half. 1:13 p.m. - Maryland scores first, only 2:38 into the match on a Jeremy Hall shot. Maryland leads 1-0. 1:10 p.m. - Maryland tapped the ball back on the opening kickoff and launched a shot that almost dropped into the goal. A great save by the backpedaling Michael Giallombardo.
