Maryland head coach Sasho Cirovski:

"I feel like I was here last year. We beat Duke in the regular season and they come back and nip us in the ACC Tournament. It felt like Duke won the battle in the midfield today. We needed to do well in those places, but as the game went on, their wide midfielders did a much better job than ours. Duke played very direct today and put our backs under a lot of pressure. I give them credit. I thought they defended very well."

"It's a very even league and it's tough to beat a team twice in the same year. We haven't really been at full strength since the last time we played Duke. Today was maybe the closest we've gotten back to full strength, but I'm not sure we're in a good rhythm quite yet."

"I think what you saw was a Maryland team that's not as deep as we were last year, that was not built for success in this type of tournament. I think our challenge now and my goal is to help get the team fit and healthy for the NCAA Tournament."

"This is a great Duke team. They won the ACC Championship last year. There's no shame in losing today. I'm very disappointed to not bring more joy to our great Maryland fans that showed up today."

Duke head coach John Rennie on Wake Forest:

"They are a very good team and a very good possession team. We can't chase the ball all night."

"We would like to score several more goals. The first half we played probably the best that we can play and only had one goal to show for it. That always has you worried at halftime, especially with a team like Maryland."
