NC State head coach George Tarantini:

"I was extremely proud of our guys, they really stepped up to play. It was a great game. We had a few key injuries in the beginning of the season but they finished strong and I was very proud of them"

Duke head coach John Rennie:

"It was a very emotional battle with NC State. George Tarantini and I are good friends. We had beaten them 4-1 and they were out for a little payback. They played a great game and we were fortunate to win."
