AC Milan Practices on Newton Campus Soccer Field

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The world-renowned Italian soccer club AC Milan practiced at Boston College's Newton Campus Soccer Field on Saturday, July 23, in preparation for a game the following day against British soccer club Chelsea. AC Milan fell to Chelsea, 1-0, on Sunday, July 24 at Gilette Stadium. The team picked up a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer in Chicago on Wednesday, July 27.

AC Milan plays their third and final game in the United States on Sunday, July 31, facing Chelsea at the New Jersey Meadowlands. Among the competitors headlining AC Milan's three-game trip to the United States are Cafu, Rui Costa, Paolo Maldini, Andriy Shevchenko and Christian Vieri.
