Kreis Ties MLS Record for Career Goals
June 21, 2004 Former Duke men's soccer standout Jason Kreis continued to write his name into the Major League Soccer record books on Saturday night when he scored his 88th career goal for the Dallas Burn. The goal tied Kreis for the all-time MLS lead. A two-time All-America selection at Duke, Kreis ranks tied for eighth on Duke's all-time goals list with 39 between 1991-94. He is fifth all-time at Duke with 116 career points.
Kreis will have the opportunity to gain sole possession of the MLS goals record on June 26, when Dallas returns to action against D.C. United.
