Nathan Strugis Contributes to UWC Tie
June 16, 2005 Enschede, Holland - Nathan Strugis had his first ever start in the Under 20 World Cup Tuesday night against Germany. Strugis who replaced the injured Jonathan Spector, played the entire game and was a deciding factor in the matched that ended in a 0.0 tie. With no shots on goal until 16 minutes left into the first half, the U.S. defense had an incredible performance. The U.S. team is now in second place and marked the first-time ever the U.S. has come away with at least one point in their second game. The team will face Egypt Saturday, June 18th in their final Group D match in Enschede.
