Boston College Defeats Second-Ranked Wake Forest, 1-0
Freshman Kevin Mejia's second-half shot from 23 yards out found the bottom right corner of the net and lifted Boston College to a 1-0 ACC victory over second-ranked Wake Forest before 853 fans at the Newton Campus Complex.

The victory marked the Eagles' second win over the nation's second-ranked team in two weeks. BC defeated second-ranked North Carolina, 2-1, in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Oct. 17.

BC freshman Stefan Carter got the decisive play started with a long throw-in. The ball was headed out of the box by a Wake Forest defender and collected by Mejia, who struck the ball across the box into the far side of the net at 50:15.

Clemson Upsets No. 11 N.C. State 1-0 in Men's Soccer
Austin Savage scored a goal at the 84:46 mark in leading Clemson to a 1-0 victory over eleventh-ranked N.C. State in an Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer match at Raleigh, NC Friday night.

Wit the winh, Clemson improves to 4-10-1 overall and 2-5 in the ACC. N.C. State falls to 11-4-1 overall and 2-4-1 in league play. The Wolfpack are ranked 11th by Soccer America and 13th by NCSAA and College Soccer News.

In the 85th minute, Eric Cava took a shot on net and the rebound bounced back to Savaged who netted his fifth score of the season.
