NC State Men’s Soccer Blanks Longwood, 4-0

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s soccer team picked up its fourth consecutive non-conference win, as the Wolfpack defeated Longwood, 4-0, Wednesday night at the NC State Soccer Stadium. The Pack (6-8-1) scored a pair of goals in each half, and limited the Lancers (6-6-3) offense to just three shots on goal.

The Pack would get on the scoreboard first in the 11th minute. Less than a minute after hitting the post on the game’s first shot, Kris Byrd converted a rebound off a miss by Ronnie Bouemboue for his second goal of the season at the 10:45 mark.
