Duke Uses Second-Half Push to Beat Clemson
The 19th-ranked Duke University men's soccer team tallied a pair of late in the second half to earn an important 2-1 victory over ACC foe Clemson this evening at Koskinen Stadium. Junior Cole Grossman tallied the game-winner for the Blue Devils, his fourth of the season.

The Blue Devils improve to 10-4-0 overall, matching their overall wins total from a year ago, and to 3-3-0 in ACC play. Duke is 9-1-0 at home this season and is riding a three-game win streak.

After an even opening 10 minutes, Clemson (2-10-1, 1-5-0) earned the first really good scoring opportunity with a free kick just outside the 18-yard box. Connor Barbaree stepped up and swung the ball around the right side of the wall but was denied by the far post to keep the game scoreless.
